I want to take a moment to formally introduce myself, my name is Daphne Thompson. With a MS in Special Ed and Early Childhood Education, I am also a NY State certified educator of ages Birth - 2nd grade and over 20+years’ experience. While I transition from my most recent role as the Educational Director of One World Learning (O.W.L) New Rochelle, and NYC’s Explore and Discover Early Learning Center serving 35 children and leading 15 teachers, I am confident in stepping into this new position as owner of Pennys Playhouse, New Rochelle.

Most importantly, I am a champion of the philosophy that when cared for with LOVE and engaged in the joy of learning, every child will realize his or her purpose and positive potential.
